Ms. Lakeisha Ward age 32 of Campbellton, FL passed away, Tuesday October 6th at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.
Lakeisha Andrea Ward was born August 7, 1988 to the late Tommy Sorey and Patricia Ann Ward in Marianna, FL.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Friendship C. M. E. Church in Campbellton, Florida. At the age of 13 she served on the finance and trustee boards. She was a member of the choir and the director of the youth ministry. She was a faithful active member until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her father: Tommy Sorey; grandparents: Nazaree Knox Walker, Freddie Lee Ward and James Sorey; uncle: Anthony Bernard Sorey.
She leaves to cherished memories with; her son: Tomias J. Ward of Campbellton, FL; mother: Patricia Ann Ward of Campbellton, FL; stepfather: Patrick Barnes of Campbellton, FL; two sisters: Shaletha Harvey of Campbellton, FL and Lateisha (Jeff) Bell of Marianna, FL; one brother: Labrandon Bighem of Campbellton, FL; grandmother: Annie Bell Sorey of Marianna, FL; Aunts: Annette (Clint) Cotton and Glinda Ward both of Campbellton, FL, Gloria (Pedro) Martinez and Carrie Bell Sorey both of Graceville, FL, Angela Ward of Panama City, FL, Barbara (Bernard) Lee of Norfolk, VA, Cynthia (John Mark) Dudley of Marianna, FL; uncles: Henry Ward, Neal (Christal) Walker, Jr. and Jerone (Mandy) Walker all of Weed, CA, Freddrick (Charissa) Ward of Atlanda, GA, Thomas Marshall of Dothan, AL, Willie Walker of OR, Jeffro (Sylvia) Sorey of Columbia, SC, Jimmy Sorey of Graceville, FL and Billy Sorey of Marianna, FL; special cousins: Mantris Cotton, Nashay Ward, Shantris Walker, Tony Broxton, Nazarine Broxton, Allen Cotton, Jr., Thomas Broxton, Jr., Brianna Davis, Talisha Carridine and Holly Hassig; 6 great uncles; 12 great aunts and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
